Vegan Foodie Festival

The Vegan Foodie Festival is coming back to Dublin in January. Remember it last year?

The festival had its first outing in January this year (2018) with the aim of finding “unique ways to promote vegan products, increase sales for vegan & vegan friendly restaurants, while offering something different for foodies in the city”.

It turns out, it went so well that they’re back for round 2 from 24-27 January 2019.

It’s about connecting people to vegan and vegan friendly businesses in the capital. Participating restaurants will have special menus, entertainment programs and special offers running across the weekend.

Organisers are also challenging vegan diners to ‘try something new’, in the hope of exploring the city’s culinary landscape to check out new dishes and styles of food.

So, who’s on board?

Vegan Foodie Festival Restaurants

  • The Bombay Pantry ( all branches )
  • McGuinness Take Away
  • Aperitivo
  • Brother Hubbard North & South
  • Shouk
  • The Electric Vegan
  • Take-A-Veg
  • DiFontaines – Authentic New York Pizzeria
  • Blazing Salads
  • The Hungry Mexican
  • Steps of Rome
  • Vurgerface
  • Skinful Affairs
  • Bliss Bites Bakery
  • The ThunderRoad Cafe
  • What The Falafel?
  • Sova Vegan Butcher
  • WokeCup Café

Admittedly, I only know a handful of outlets on the list (topped by DiFontaine’s for one of the country’s best slices of pizza) but I’m in Dublin for a wedding that weekend so I’m keen to go exploring.

Grab your tickets

Tickets are only €2.50 with four days of amazing vegan foodie adventures planned around Dublin city.
