If you’re in the Kilkenny surrounds, keep an eye out for The Food Project.

Arts practitioner/facilitator Ita Morrissey is gathering heads for a series of free workshops in June exploring our relationship with food.

It’s a new creative project being backed by Artlinks.ie and Kilkenny Arts Office, two stellar organisations that I’ve been lucky to benefit from over the years.

What’s it all about?

As the callout for The Food Project goes

“We invite you to participate in a creative project exploring food where we will chat about our relationship to it, why we eat what we do, where it comes from, who makes and grows it.”

The workshops are in Kilkenny City, held at the Ossory Youth centre on New Street, running three Mondays in June – 10th, 17th and 24th from 7.30pm.

If you’re interested in getting involved, buzz Ita on 087 7957515 or email morrisseyita@gmail.com.
