If you’ve been watching Neven Maguire’s Seafood Trails of late and you’re left wondering about seafood festivals and events, they’ve got you covered in Kilmore Quay.
Organisers have announced that this year’s festival will take place from 8-12 July.
Further to that, an open meeting for prospective volunteers and those considering running events will take place this Tuesday night at the Stella Maris Centre in the village.
Each July, the fishing village of Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford, celebrates the finest of seafood and fishing with the annual Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival.
Check with any restaurant in the South East and they’re likely getting some fish for their menu from Kilmore Quay.
The festival combines the best of seafood and cooking with workshops for children, table quizzes, live music and more family friendly events.
2020 marks the 36th year for the annual seafood festival with proceeds from the festival going towards community projects in the village.
