The shortlists for this year’s Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year awards have been released.
In association with Rémy Martin, with support from Liberty Wines and Bodegas LAN, this year’s winners will be announced at a special lunch event taking place in the Shelbourne Hotel (Dublin) on Sunday 10 November from 2pm.
Like the Irish Restaurant Awards earlier this year, categories are provincial, with a separate listing for Dublin.
Each area will see a Best Restaurant, Best Chef, Best Casual Dining and Best Wine Experience crowned alongside Innovator of the Year, Café of the Year, Best Cocktail Experience, Pastry Chef of the Year and more.
With the local’s view and from a Kilkenny stand-point, congratulations to Campagne and chef-owner Garrett Byrne, The Lady Helen at Mount Juliet – including pastry chef Tom Phelan – Arán, Stathams, Ristorante Rinuccini and Nóinin, who all find themselves in the running for awards.
