The Savour Kilkenny Food Festival for 2024 is still just over two months away, but already tickets are moving for some of this year’s planned tasting events.

This year’s festival runs from 25-28 October in the heart of Kilkenny city and the programme of events is already looking very tasty indeed.

Demos this year are coming from the likes of Gary O’Hanlon, Rebecca Sweeney, Derry Clarke, JP McMahon, Rachel Allen and Kevin Dundon with Laura Gannon (Cakeface), Edward Hayden, Anne Neary, Sinéad Moclair (Nóinín) and Tom Phelan (Mount Juliet) all flying the flag for Kilkenny. On the business front, Arán duo Bart & Nicol Pawlukojc will be under the spotlight with LEO Kilkenny for the Foodpreneurs slot opening demos on the Saturday morning.

While the Savour Market will dominate The Parade for the weekend, events move beyond the plaza mixing food and art at Butler Gallery and Rothe House, food and mindfulness in Castlecomer, food and the circular economy in Thomastown, a taste and tour experience at Highbank Orchards in Cuffesgrange and more. You can see the full run-down of events at a glance here.

Tickets, please

While there are an abundance of free talks, demos, and get-togethers, plus a 100-strong market to explore over the October bank holiday weekend in Kilkenny, there are a number of special events on the food and drink front that will require tickets with events ranging from €12 to over the €100 mark. These include
