2024 is just around the corner, so it’s time to mark the diary with some new food events and festivals in Ireland

It's time to dust off the diary and take a look at some of the key food events in ireland in 2024.

While it wasn’t shown much love during 2023, my Irish food events and festivals calendar has had a refresh for 2024.

Easily the most trafficked part of the blog year-on-year, the list gives and overview of festivals and key food happenings around Ireland from January through December. With 2024 just around the corner, I figure this is a good a time as any to dust down the cobwebs and bring it bang up to date.

Note: If you would like to get an event in on the list (and it does get a lot of eyes across the year), send the details in an email to ken@kenonfood.com.

Already there are plenty of entries in there, from the South East Whiskey Festival set to take place in Wexford from 29 February to the return of the West Waterford Festival of Food in mid-April, Flavours of Fingal in June, to the Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival in September, Savour Kilkenny in October and more.

I’ll be checking in on the list every week some some adjustments big and small. Take a look at it in full here or get in touch to add your own event or correct any details.
