Mileeven was established in 1988 by Eilis Gough as Joe, her husband, kept bees as a hobby.
Mileeven is run now by Eilis along with Sarah, her daughter, still in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, and is one of the leading honey suppliers in Ireland.
The range has increased over the years to include other honeys like Manuka, Organic, Pure honey, Lavender honey but staying true to the quality that is good for the bees and great for taste.
I sat down in studio with Sarah for a chat about the business, the bees, the past, present and future for Mileeven.
