You take take the tweezers off the man, but never for too long.
Kilkenny’s Butler House have announced a one-night-only (for now, anyway) takeover of their Lady Eleanor Restaurant by chef Keith Boyle and the team behind the Best Restaurant in Leinster (2023, Irish Restaurant Awards) on Saturday 22 June. Boyle, announced in March as executive chef at the Mountain View estate in Ballyhale, has been keeping the fine-dining tools sharpened, with this the latest in a line of pop-up dining experiences.
Per Butler House via social media, “Keith and his team will take over the Lady Eleanor Dining Room on Saturday 22nd of June and will serve one of their signature tasting menus, accompanied by carefully curated wines selected by sommelier Carmle Boyle. The evening is already sold out but please keep an eye for more dates hopefully to be announced in the near future.”
And Boyle himself, “We are delighted to announce that for one very special night, myself, Carmel and all the team that won the 2023 Best Restaurant in Leinster are back together to cook and serve one of our signature tasting menus in the beautiful surrounds of the Lady Eleanor Dining Room at @butlerhousekk . We are super excited to be back cooking and serving some of our original dishes and Carmel has some amazing wines chosen to accompany. This night is unfortunately sold out already but do keep an eye for hopefully more dates.”
Update 23/6: This looked good!
