Cookbooks for Christmas

Cookbooks for Christmas including the latest from Mark Diacono and Diana Henry.

Christmas is just around the corner and after a busy year for food on air, the last feature I’ve got is looking at cookbooks for Christmas.

Up for discussion are Mark Diacono’s Sour, Midnight Chicken by Ella Risbridger and Diana Henry’s contender for Irish Cookbook of the Year, From The Oven To The Table, plus one or two others.

To talk out the books, I’m joined in studio by Francis Nesbitt who makes a most welcome return to the show on the food front. Take a listen below to hear more – this will make it into the podcast series once things settle down for me at Christmas!

My thanks to all those who’ve contributed on the food front to the show this year, it’s been great chatting and I know there’s loads more conversations to have in 2020.

Lastly, if you’re thinking on shopping for cookbooks this Christmas, even though there’s still time to get in online orders, try your local bookshop first.
